Ford believes that the biggest draw to the Expedition FX4 will be its impressive towing capabilities. The FX4's aluminum body will be able to tow up to 9300 pounds, which is more than the current steel body can tow. It will be tuned with off-road shocks, all-terrain tires with thicker sidewalls, chrome running boards, and a plethora of other cosmetic and performance adaptions for off-roading. Ford is expecting this to be a popular option when it comes out, and with the impressive details so far, there's no reason to think otherwise.
