There have been a series of news reports of late about 2011-2017 model year Ford Explorers, so we understand why our customers are worried about being exposed to exhaust or carbon monoxide emissions. Ford wants to comfort their customers with the reassurance that their vehicles are safe, since their investigation has not found any carbon monoxide levels emitted that exceed typical daily exposure.

The problems in the news are limited to Police Interceptor Utilities, and a result of to holes left unsealed after installation of police equipment from third parties that occurred after the vehicles were purchased.

However, Ford doesn't want their customers to be concerned about their safety, so they've set up a free-of-charge service. Simply bring your vehicle, regardless of it's mileage or warranty status, to our Service Center between November 1, 2017 and December 31, 2018; our factory-trained technicians will replace the liftgate drain valve, reprogram the air conditioner and inspect the sealing at the rear of the vehicle.

If you have any questions about this offer, call Ford's dedicated hotline at (888) 260-5575.

Our showroom at 2259 North Thompson in Springdale proudly serves Ford drivers from the Bentonville, Rogers and Lowell areas.
